Anyways, here's Lulu's concept in my next gen, she'll probably look like that. I think she's pretty hehe

Her palette was the hardest thing probably but i managed to make it look pretty!!! Also, new way of colouring eyes hehe

Anyways, let's go to headcanon.

Name: Luna Zenith Eclipse
Nicknames: Lulu, Moonie, Moonmoon, dearest, beloved (all by Sombra)
Age: Over 1000 years
Species: Alicorn
Status: married
Children: Phoenix Prime Eclipse "Pixie"

Shortly after Twilight's coronation, Luna moved to Crystal Empire. She didn't live in any sort of a castle though - her home was pretty big, but living there alone wasn't that good for a princess. Of course, she had her bat pony guards with her. Other than that, she lived alone, because Celestia moved to mount Aris to her wives.
She was still meeting ponies in her dreams - now, after retiring, this and raising the moon were the only things she could do without being bored.

Untill this one day.

Walking in dreams, she met one pony. Or rather, half-pony. He was an umbrum.

His nightmares were probably the worst ones she had ever saw.

But this umbrum's heart wasn't as dark as others say. "As black as night", like her sister always said.

He was the only one who actually understood her love to the night, the stars and all. He was also the only one who knew how she felt as a villain - abadoned by the only one they cared about, and misunderstood.

It didn't take much time for them to fall in love, they got engaged during the first week of his reformation. Celestia wasn't happy about the news, she still didn't trust him. She learned to accept their relationship sooner or earlier.

He eventually moved to her place, which was kind of more castle-looking after some time.

They have one child, a little four year old pegasus, Phoenix, more commonly called "Pixie".

Her best friend is Discord definitely, after that incident with his sleepwalking (friends forever comic issue #20). They mostly just annoy Celestia together on family reunions, and mock Cosmos together too.
She's the shortest princess, in human height she would be like 145 cm (which is ironic since Sombra is about 196, they look just... Funny next to each other). Celestia tends to make fun of her height very often, but well.

I'll probably write a more detailed story about how her and Sombra fell in love soon because like,,, it's my favourite ship of all the time lol
