You have potential 
My tips: make the iris more circular; shade more around the outline of the sclera (the lines of the lower eyelid are too harsh); make the lower eyelashes longer.

When I try to draw realistic I touch my face and my arm and such to get a feel for them, freaks my brother out when he sees my touching my face and sticking my legs in the air trying to look at them...

I do a bit of the same thing! My mother gives me all these weird stares but it helps me with proportioning.
