Aaaaand this is as far as I got. There's still one page remaining where they bring her back to Knothole under the care of Dr. Quack, who is amazed at how old she's supposed to be yet looks years younger (i.e. the technology Robotnik used). Other than that, he says she's unconscious, but doing okay.Tails sits at her bedside and has a big internal monologue of what this all means and what will happen next. Then she wakes up, looks at him, and the comic ends.
Maybe I'll draw that last page someday, I dunno.

I remember this! c: I love how Fiona looked in this comic, the style you did for all the characters is pretty damn snazzy though. You'd do awesome drawing for the real comic if you wanted to! I vote that you should finish this up and clean it up. Might get you discovered! :9

This is really interesting, considering what Tails is now seeing. Would I be correct in that he's looking at Fiona who is not only the original person, but her age has been halted to make her the same age as Tails?
Personally, I'm rather saddened by the way that Ian Potto took Fiona in the comics, so much that I just stopped reading them altogether. Tails loved her and he deserved the good Fiona. Sonic has enough love with Sally, Mina and even Amy. Knuckles has Julie-Su. But who does Tails have? It's unfair that he has to suffer heartache in more ways than one, and not just in the Archie comics, but in the Sonic X anime, losing Cosmo, too. Dammit all. Give the kid a break!

Actually, I don't so much blame Ian for the way Fiona turned out as I do ... um, well, Ken Penders, I guess, for re-introducing the real her as a thief with temper problems allying with Nack the Weasel's slimy sister. Then, years later, I -THINK- this was also Ken's doing, of having her hook up with Sonic OUT OF THE BLUE. Neither of them showed the slightest attraction too each other, and BAM, there's Sonic making out with Fiona right where Tails can find them. If Sonic was seriously IC, he would've known how much this'd hurt his best bud and not even give it a second thought. How in the hell did Archie suddenly become okay with Sonic being a player? I blame it on poor writing and plot contrivance.
I think Ian got stuck with all the crap the previous writers did to her, and unfortunately, to be a good writer, you can't just retcon someone's actions or personalities. You can try to explain it, which is what he did, but by the time he joined the comic, she was kind of already on the road to destruction. Scribs and I, probably the biggest, dorkiest fans of Tails/Fiona in the world, probably both believe that she could've easily turned out to be an anti-hero or something, but nope, had to go with the evil route, which is why Scribs doesn't read the comics anymore. I think we're both clinging to the string that is hope that she'll come around EVENTUALLY.
Wow, that was a lot of babble. Back on to your comment, Tails has Mina (GAG ME) in Mobius: 30 years later, but yeah, that's another complete non-sequitur. Granted, I paired Tails with Amy LOOOONG once Sonic 25 hit stores, but that's because, before her SA look, the two seemed to have a lot in common. I don't anymore. But Tails? Mina? REALLY? WHY?
Ohhhhh, the rants I could go on.

I share your feelings of distaste for Tails with Mina, simply in the fact that Mina loves Ash and the feeling is mutual. If there were any development between Tails and Mina, I would see the latter becoming more like a big sister, not a future wife. And like you, I do cling to the string of hope that Fiona will have a change of heart someday. While she still lives and breathes, she can choose to turn around. But with Tails finally wishing ill upon her, instead of forgiveness, I'm not gonna hold my breath for Ian Flynn or any future head writer to do the signs of her having a change of heart. But frankly, if I was the head writer, I would IMMEDIATELY start planting the seeds of Fiona's redemption and would see to it that she turns back to being good by the time I would've been done as head writer. I'm not gonna read the comics anymore, as they will only make me feel bad. I sorely regret reading the issue of Tails finding Sonic and Fiona dating, and even moreso when she slapped Tails in the face. It felt like someone drove a spear through my own heart and then twisted it cruelly.
Well, I am pleased to know that you share the sentiments for Tails and Fiona as a couple goes. I escape from all that Archie comics by going onto Second Life as Tails, whereby a friend of mine role-plays Fiona.

The style in the pages reminds me of a mix between Spaz's and Dawn Best's stuff. But the one thing I really have to compliment you on was nailing expressions. You did so good on the expressions in these pages, way better--in my opinion--then what the official comic was doing at the time. I don't know if you still have the dream of doing work for the comic anymore, but I definitely think you could have caught their attention with pages like this~

I was supposed to, but Other-M got axed when the writer, Ian Potto, got hired by SEGA. He said it was due to legal issues or something, so the 40-page special and the two after it will probably never see the light of day.
I managed to finish 4 of the 10 pages I was assigned, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post them anywhere. They took down the already-posted comic pages from the Bumbleking site, which indicates that they'd rather not let people see it anymore, so I'm leaning towards just keeping them on my hard drive for nostalgia's sake.

I figured that was the case after Ian took over the official comic. Too bad, I had always wished to see it through. Not to mention, I wish I had saved all the already made issues of Other M before they had to take them down, but I understand how that goes. Same for your pages--probably best to just sit on those for now.
It's funny how interconnected this can all be. I think it was actually you and a few other members back on the old Yoshi Aurorium that got me into Sonic in the first place, and I discovered Ian back when he was doing Other M. Now Ian's the official writer, but still keeps in touch with the fanbase (I've seen you over on This Side of Mobius a few times), and I've found myself as an admin here for the Sonic Club, kind of as the unofficial Archie comics/Mobius guy, because I know the comics best out of all the admins. It's just fun to watch all of this weave around through the years~

This sounds so interesting o: I've never had the chance to ever read any of the Sonic comics, but they seem to have so many different and interesting characters. The most I've ever done is watch Sonic SatAM on YouTube and I just loved it.
You've had the style down so well for years, I've never really tried it myself
