Personality:

Born to a nobody prostitute in Kansai, Yugao was raised by her single mother and the rest of the ladies in the whore house. She wasn't taught much of manners or modesty and values it little showcasing it to no one. For most of her young life she was expected to grow up and work in the whore house as well but this was something she had no intentions of doing. To her the she always grew up disgusted by what her mother and the other women did in the whore house and could never bring herself to understand why her mother would "choose" this life. when she turned 14 she ran off with the first man who promised to take her out of the whore house. The relationship was less than ideal and when the opportunity to run away came once more she took it. She lived rather poorly committing a lot of petty crimes that slowly escalated. She eventually became involved with a crime ring that raised her standard of living until she was caught by Madara who was investigating the ring. In exchange for information she was not jailed and eventually became Madara's deputy and is in the process of being reformed into a decent law abiding citizen.

Backstory:

Yūgao is an overconfident and vulgar young lady. She isn't afraid to get into fights with others and believes if you're the loudest voice in the room your opinion must be right. She loves debauchery and getting into all kinds of trouble but is tempered by Madara. While she isn't a smart person she prides herself on her tenacity and spirit. Her value of these two things is usually used to mask insecurity about her intelligence and uneducated upbringing. She is tenacious to a fault and isn't one to give up "while she's ahead" and if she believes strongly in something will die before admitting she's wrong. She values intimidation and fear as a means to feel powerful in her relationships with others and finds it hard to allow herself to be vulnerable with others due to her believing everyone is out for themselves. Growing up feeling like she wasn't worth shit pushed her into being her own biggest advocate and supporter, to her no one else will value her so she must value herself above all others.
