The "Cavalier/Samurai" line (6 Sets - 36 Total)
This is my design interpretation of a katana wielding warrior based on a samurai.
I designed the Cavarai with a 2 piece kimono style bodysuit with a collar wrap, heavy armored armlets with wide sleeves, a skirt wrap with tiered pleats/tiered armor decoration that exposes the front panty along with a pair of thigh stockings, wooden sandals, and a battle helmet. This warrior unit is created from more traditional variety. In a futuristic setting, these are a specially contracted line, like living relics and keepers of knowledge that carry on traditions for the people they serve.
This is one of the few designs I created that incorporates headgear. Personally, I'm not a fan of hats or helmets but I enjoyed drawing them for this idea because they incorporate similar shapes from the existing costume design. There's definitely some jank when it comes to lines and colors, but these sets turned out to be one of my personal favorites.
In a future version, I'd like to try a full skirt. I'd lose the top detail of the stocking, which I love but I'm willing to try a more modest (and practical, lol) style. Also, I think I'd want them to have white face paint makeup style (geisha based.
