I do truly have way too many but the ideas just keep coming.

This is my newest open species called sunbun of sunbuns in plural

You may use them for anything (except NSFW/fetish - they literally don't even have any possibly nsfw features, so idk how you'd even do that)

You can make OCs, adopts, offer customs (as long as you stick to the reference and info in this post)
You don't have to tag/credit me for the species (just mention the name of the species) when drawing OCs (though I'd love to see what you create!) but when making purchasable contents such as customs or adopts I'd like if you credited me for the species ^^

Now, onto the species itself, don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about them ^^

Appearance and physiology:
There are both light skinned and dark skinned vatiants
Sunbuns are usually 15 - 30 cm (something like 5 - 10 inches) tall
They don't have a nose (they don't need to breathe because the leaves on their head do that for them), nor do they have feet or ears (they feel vibration through their whole body like insects - this also means they don't speak but use telepathy like florails)
Their eyeballs are in most cases not exactly white, usually they're yellow/greenish but any colour is possible
Their skin and leaves is mostly natural colours (but doesn't have to be!) with at least a slight green tint
Their irises can be unnatural colours
Skin markings are very common (on the actual skin and even on the leaves)
They also don't have any animal-like respiratory, (only very limited) digestive, or vascular system, only fibres for transport of water with minerals, sugars etc. But they do have a well developed nervous system
They don't have a gender, but they can present however they want

Clothing:
Most of their clothes are made out of natural materials such as leaves, seeds, shells etc.
They can wear necklaces and other things as well, basically anything

Powers:
They regenerate very well, they can basically regrow
Telepathy
They're great climbers and very agile
They practice plant magic like using herbs etc.

Lifestyle:
Sunbuns don't eat, they only drink water or sometimes even nectar (some types of nectar can have various effects on them)
They communicate through telepathy but that can be hard, so they also use clapping and tapping as a form of communication, they have melodies they clap/tap out to signal things - this works similar to bee dances or bird songs
They are attracted to string instruments like guitars etc. because of the vibrations - this way, you can lure them if you were to be near a forest or any other place where they live
They always walk quickly (due to the lack of feet, when they don't walk, they rarely just stand, they sit down or lean against something)
They need to sunbathe at least a few hours daily (not necessarily lying in the sun, just being in direct sunlight is good enough) sometimes they like doing that on lily pads or rocks surrounded by water to feel safe
They make their clothing from
They live alone or with a florail companion or in small group of 2-10
They live in the ground or in the trees usually in abandoned animal dens
Sunbuns have a lifespan of around 20-30 years but they don't have to mate if they don't want to, meaning they could be immortal (they'd just never produce an offspring)
They have affinity for collecting things, so most of then usually have one thing they just like to collect and surround themselves with (it could be gems, seeds, acorns, bones or basically anything natural)
They sometimes co-exist with florails, sometimes they can even ride the bigger ones and fly with them ^^ (they hold onto the petal colour with their hands - this doesn't hurt the florail at all)
They bloom (a big flower on top of their head) once in their whole life (for about a whole year between their 20th and 30th birthday) and if they want to pass on/reproduce, they find a mate (they rub their head flowers against each other to exchange pollen) and both create only a very few (about 4) seeds that can each grow into a new sunbun in less than a month ^^

Child variants:
Have small hands, those aren't fully developed and have short hair leaves

Uncommon variants:
Can have antennas or horns

Exceptionally rare variants:
Can have wings (mostly insect/pixie wings)
Can have an extra set of arms
Burn resistant
Albino variants - they still have some green on their leaves though, otherwise they'd die. Overall they're weaker than non-albinos
+ any other feature you might think would suit them
