Emu (Dromaius novaehollandiae).Photographed at Galloway Wildlife Conservation Park, Kirkcudbright, Dumfries and Galloway.
Although it might appear in the picture that it has something wrong with it's eye, it is simply that the photo caught it in the middle of a blink.

I think the timing is awesome, here! I especially like what it's doing with its eye, anyway, or rather, how you've caught it as it's blinking.
The colours contrast effectively and I like how the shallow depth of field makes the main subject matter stand out more. It's great how there seems to be a rainbow of colour, although it's a bit subtle...
Also, has it lost a bit of its hair/feathers/fluff? O.o

You can definitely see the dinosaur!
The emu's really pretty. I especially like the wrinkly, blue neck for some reason.
