Happy dA birthday Zotco !
This is my entry to its DTYIS challenge. And it was a challenge by itself since I'm so uncofortable with drawing animals and especially dogs!
I really had fun with the background texture by the way, so it was another point of practicing!

I must admit, I was not very original in this redrawing, since I used the same pose than the original, just center the focus on the 2 characters (just to not draw a detailed background shh, I know I'm lazy)
hmhm well, some would say that it's a good thing to center the subject and focus on the emotion of happiness. yes indeed, indeed.

oh, and ... sorry, I just realize that I didn't paint his hair correctly: it's not the right haircut! D:
