My old puppy
Her name is Star. She is a Pomerianian... She is blind and loves her life!

It can be. But she does really good. We have to be careful when we rearrange the house cause she gets confused and walks into everything. Or if we put something down that isn't normally there she will walk into it.
Outside in the yard she does amazing sometimes you wouldn't think she's blind. But she knows if she gets to close to something I say "no" and she realizes that she would walk into it, so she goes around.

Wow, thank you very much for these explanations. I think seeing is much more important for us humans than for dogs - because their other senses (like hearing or smelling) are much more sophisticated.
From your words I know, that she can rely on you and that you give her help (by saying no) if their is something dangerous around.

That is definitely true. Her eyesight may be terrible but that hearing is incredible.
