thats just the way the AskBlindDash artist made it.
Fluttershy was being attacked by a dragon, and Rainbow Dash came to save her. Basically, the only thing that kept Dash from dying was the magic of the elements of harmony.
This caused her blindness however. It's an extremely interesting story, you should look at Ask Blind Dash.
