Alfred E. Neuman the little guy from MAD magazine.yes i read MAD. lol growing up i would try to draw all the little craps i found in the mags and i have wanted to draw a serious drawing of Alfred and i finally got around to it

lol this guys also made a board game for mad in which u had to loose all the money instead of gain it lol i remeber there was this card which read if ur name is Alfred E Numan you win i dont noe a billion dollars and they had a green note of a billion dollars...it wasnt really a billion i cant remeber the exact figure lol anyway this is really awsome

Anyhow, awesome drawing. You've captured the spirit of the young boy who appears to have been smacked in the face with a brick many, many times. You know, in a good way.
It looks just like the actual/official Alfred E. Neuman drawings.

i dout it they will ever look at it but that would be so awesome!!! i hope before its all said and done i hope that one day i have something published just for frameing and hangin on the wall so i can brag about it. have you ever tried to have anything published? i think that would be awesome!

lol nah...but this girl in my art class won a competition in our leading newspaper for the design of a new book club section thing..it was anime and it was a pretty good drawing, but yer she like draws cartoon things for tv shows in hong kong. i wish i was her. lol

naaaa piss on that cartoon anime crap!!!! there are a bajillion kids drawing gagailliions of cartoon craps!!! what we do with pencils that is classy!!!!! they may never say it but we are there driving force to there secret jelousy!! myself with my art i take class over cash anyday!!!! with the millions of artist out there there is only a small fraction that can do what we do! and that makes us special!!!! anyone who can afford a nice camera can take a nice picture. any childish mind can draw a cartoon! but what we do takes years of openminded practice and a drive to improove!!!! with all the people on DA there are only a few houndred awesome pencil artists and personally not to sound arogant but i belive we are in that few houndred!!!! secretly she hates your art with a passion because all she will ever amount to is a glorafied stickfigure artist in the art of jap anime style eye drawing. you walk into any "real" art muesem and you see beautiful paintings and statues. and first class art. you dont see mickey mouse stick figures. i use the term "real" i dont think tree hugging hippie pop snot on a canvas is art. her "drawings" may be good but your "art" is great!!!

i was gonna mention that but i wasnt sure if you'd think i was horrible person getting at ppl drawing anime, but i have to say. i agree 100% anybody can draw anime, its so easy.
i honestly can say that in the future i cannot see people visiting museums filled with anime drawings. i mean come on, ppl 100 years ago knew and appreciated what GOOD art was, but its gone so downhill, now if u stick a line on a canvas , its ART. anyhoo ill appreciate and support the people who have talent and who take hours to create masterpieces...coz that is art.
