Toothless is so adorable, isn't he!? :3So adorable that I just had to draw him!
It started out as a practice on background art, and my first time with Sai, I think it turned out decent.

Hmm, if anything i think how he use flight controls. What does flaps behind the wings and can he turning by yourself when left rudder/stabilizer is locked(scene from httyd2)? In episodes i see full automatic rudder and he's works synchronously, that seems Toothless cannot change course by moving one tail fin anymore. Maybe with new "autopilot mode" he can turn by
displacement stabilizer's vector actions, that is rotate tail by x-axis? The plane does the same but rotate tail(with fuselage) by airlerons, although the above described turn is used rudder, Toothless just don't have separated rudder and stabilizer.

Your use of colour is what really grabbed me with this. Gorgeous hues of purple and blue, and so shiny! Not that the adorable speeding Toothless isn't arresting, because he absolutely is. Beautiful piece!
