Description Ekrem, who is 39 years old, serves gendarme as guardian. His duty is to protect the BTC(Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan) Petrol Pipeline and Shah Deniz Natural Gas Pipeline. The hills behind him is the place where he is responsible for. He holds a Kalashnikov with him and wanders the hills with his 5 guardian friends. Terror activities have decreased but suspicion still carries on.(Dagcı Village, Ardahan, Turkey)

I actually work for the natural gas pipeline project named TANAP. I manage the public relations therefore I travel a lot. It becomes a good opportunity to meet with different people. I witness varied types of events and will learn the stories of people that I am going to encounter. The more people I meet, the more I know something about life. So I try to make my travel both of these journeys you said. Thank you
