This is the prize I've drawn of the winner of the Fifth contest on !Kakashi-fan , =Nokomento . Congrats to her! I hope she will enjoy her prize!

She requested to see Iruka and Kakashi at their promo bal. So here it is. At first, I wanted to draw a comic about it. But the story grew too big in my head and I decided to abandon it (after I finished inking the first page, of course. That's just the irony of life). On the whole, here is the summary of the comic I wanted to draw originally: Kakashi shyly gives a note to Iruka to invite him to the promo ball and Iruka blushes madly, shocked and torn between different feelings: pleasure, embarrassement, shyness and outright dissaproval. So he refuses to come because it would be to humiliating. So Kakashi starts to ask him out in different situation: when they met in the corridor, during luch break, at night, when he's using the toilet, etc. Eventually, Iruka looses it and yells at him that if he wants to bring him to the promo ball, fine, but he would have to be done HIS way. And on the final panel, you could have seen Iruka in his tuxedo and Kakashi in a robe, a bit unsure if it all was a good idea anymore. But it would have been wayyyyy to long to draw, so I abandoned it to just draw the final panel of the story. It would have looked like this.

I wanted Iruka to look both amused to see Kakashi's being shy and a bit embarrassed to go to the promo bal with Kakashi wearing a girl dress. And Kakashi is just a bit shy about all of this of course. But I'm sure it won't stop him from asking a goodbye kiss to Iruka when he brings him back home - I can just imagine Iruka's blushing face!

I must admit that I was inspired by ~Lei-sam 's recent KakaIru tuxedo drawing, which I found handsome, for that piece of mine. I couldn't resist, I just found it too beautiful! Here it is [link]
