Fanart of Nero from Black Clover. Before being introduced to her in the anime, my husband informed me there was a character coming up who I was going to really like.
Doesn't he know me so well?
When I saw her, I couldn't resist doing some fanart of Nero, lol.

I'm trying to be more okay with having some messier, quick drawings.
In fact, I often admire other artists' loose, sketchier artwork more.
But for some reason, I cannot help myself but to clean up my lineart. I've got to get better about that.
I do like the sketchier style of shading I was able to accomplish on this piece. It was relaxing keeping it simple.
