Colorized this photo of my great granddad. It was a pain to do, but I'm rather proud of it.

He served with Company K of the 116th Infantry Regiment in WW1, which was part of the 29th Infantry Division. This photograph was taken at his property in 1966 along with 2 more which can be viewed in the original black and white here - www.instagram.com/p/CF2KXsphP-…

I can only assume this was in relation to some sort of memorial, most likely the anniversary of when he got shipped out overseas on August 7th
