Thank you so much! ^_^ I purchased the boots from hotdotz-blythe on eBay. They're a bit too small for MH dolls so the heels end up somewhere halfway in the boot, but I think it's not that noticeable

Aww, thank you! I'm not entirely sure whether EAH dolls have the same amount of holes in their heads as MH, and it depends on how think you reroot them of course... But I've done two reroots now (working on a third) and ended up using just or a little over 2 hanks of hair per doll (also from retrodolls). I did cut the hanks in half though since they're waaaay too long. The first time I had no idea how many hanks to order so I got 4, which was too much. Nowadays I buy 3 just in case. I'm almost finished with my 3rd custom btw, so I'll post that one soon

You're welcome Well, EAH dolls seem a bit larger so probably more holes. I just wanted to get a sort of estimate to how much I'd have to use for my reroot. and that's pretty awesome! I rerooted a little mermaid doll with the hair from the doll i'm rerooting now for practice. I don't think that actually counts though. Ah, I see. I got one and cut it into four pieces. I don't know why I thought 1 hank would suffice lol. It didn't go very far though and I used just about very strand. pagechapter.deviantart.com/art…

Thanks! I'm currently rerooting another doll in saran but I'm experiencing great difficulties with that doll. Apparently there's a big difference between the regular saran, and the "non greasy" saran (as it is advertised on RetroDolls). The regular saran which I used on Amber worked just fine. It was very smooth and fairly easy to use. But the non greasy stuff is really brittle and I find myself constantly running my fingers through it to untangle knots. It does however more closely resemble the texture of human hair, more than the regular saran. I'm thinking for my next custom I'll try nylon. What are your experiences with rerooting dolls? What do you use?
