Masquerade worked as a spy for the icewings since she was old enuph to fly as she could convincingly pull of the appearance of a dragon from any other trib, she was the daughter of the first and only recorded hivewing animus a dragon named Entangled who lived in arackniad hive. Entangled was a rather successful spy and assassin, traits she passed on to her daughter. Entangled unfortunately meet a swift and unexpected end when she was discovered in the ice kingdom by another hivewing spy, she was accused of treason and publicly executed, a stinger threw the heart and a dagger in the neck. Masquerade hatched a few months before her mothers death, unaware of what had happened to her. She is one of the few dragons outside of cloudveil (a floating island in the sky kingdom) who was reported to have feathers. She enchanted herself to be able to take the appearance of a dragon from any other tribe however she can’t take the appearance of a currently living dragon due to the limits of her animus magic. She has spent most of her life in the ice kingdom with her father Tundra and his new mate Subzero
