I'm a little early this time, but here's my day 5 of the 7 Days Color Challenge hosted by Picolo-kun

Blue is my absolute favorite color, and anyone familiar with my art will know that it makes up probably about half of my gallery. I love just about every blue there is, from the bright, oversaturated blues to the desaturated, almost gray ones. To me, blue is a very pure color with so much meaning to it. So I really wanted to do something special for this one and put a lot of time into it, rather than just having another random blue doodle. It took me about 10 hours, drawing almost non-stop. This is a drawing I've been wanting to do for a few weeks now, but never started because I was worried it wouldn't turn out how I pictured it, but I'm actually pretty happy with how it turned out ^_^ Tried some new things and and learned quite a bit while drawing this. (I learned how to draw raindrops, and they're really fun, btw!) Plus, it's the first proper lineart I've done in months There's actually quite a lot of layers for this drawing as well XD And I've been very fond of extremely vertical canvases lately

This is my OC, Serenity, in this one~ (Hopefully it looks like her; it's hard to draw the hair flowing up like that and still have it look like the character >_< ) I tinkered with her colors a bit, though, to fit the drawing a bit better.
The title and the drawing itself are inspired by this song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=onSjMe… I've been in love with AmaLee's cover of this song since I first heard it a few months ago. I'm hoping to do a few more drawing inspired by the song, as I really love it a lot.

I really hope you enjoy this one~ It was the most difficult but also my favorite to make!
