Keeping to my word, here's what I've been working on! ^ ^I decided that I would try making short comics. So here's something involving Nicole the Meloetta being a little careless after landing ^ ^. At least Stephanie the Smeargle got a laugh out of it.

I'd love to see more like this. I don't know why I enjoy seeing female characters, especially Pokemon getting stuck under parachutes or other fabrics. I just do.

Ooof. Guess Nicole isn't like Mimi when it comes to these situations. Kinda ironic, since I feel like she could spend quite a while under one of her music note 'chutes.

I think it was more down to Nicole being caught off guard by the sudden parachute to the face XD. I think she would intentionally pull a music themed chute down on herself after landing ^ ^.

Given Nicole's love for the sky and parachutes, I think she would be pretty sad if a main failed and she had to switch to a reserve ^ ^; She's the type that would get her parachutes checked regularly for any problems XD.

Nah, she just tries to make a habit of getting it checked often, it's perfectly fine.
(I would have included it in this, well I actually did, but hated how it looked in panel 2, so switched it out ^ ^; )

Hence the situation we see here. Do you think Nicole would've still, y'know, freaked out a little about this whole parachute-to-the-face scenario if you'd kept rolling with the music 'chute?

How much you wanna bet that's exactly what she did when she started parachuting into her performances by herself?
By the way, I never asked. What's Mallory's 'chute look like? Does she prefer round or the more modern design?

I think Nicole would keep some sort of professionalism during concerts, so she would do what she can to quickly get the parachute off her :3, but I'm sure there would have been a mishap or two XD.
With Mallory's reasons for joining Poke-Air (small wings, not being able to fly too high or for extended periods of time) she probably sticks to modern parachutes to fly ^ ^. She probably uses something eye grabbing as if to say 'who needs wings to fly?'

She probably pulled it down on top of her anyway, for theatrics' sake--making sure her logo always faced the crowd, of course. Sure, she might occasionally have trouble getting out of it, but it's still a heck of an entrance. (I'm also surprised they weren't concerned about her parachute getting caught on any stage rigging. You'd think her handlers would worry about that BEFORE wondering if they should trust their lead pop artist with that round piece of pink silk the stunt Mawile just packed up and handed to her.)
Hm. Speaking of flying Togetics... How is she going to open her parachute? Stubby wings aren't going to help her grab anything.

Would be cute for an entrance! I guess when ever she did do jumps, she would make sure that the stage was elongated like a catwalk with the target spot being among the fans, or serving as a runway for modern parachutes, so she doesn't have to worry too much about the scaffolding.
As for Mallory, I was thinking that she jumps with the chord in her mouth, so she just gives a tug to deploy

I don't think she'd be able to avoid it allΒ the time, though. She'd probably gotten it caught at least once in her lifetime--and she'd probably have just run with it until she finished her set. Improv, anyone?
Oh, thought I should point something out; with those stubby wings, I'm not 100% sure she'd be able to reach the steering toggles on modern 'chutes. Maybe she's more of a round 'chute kinda gal--like Nicole.

Hehe. Nicole just sings while dangling from the support beams while making lighthearted comments on the situation! That or she asks the staff to get like a trampoline or something XD.
Maybe. I think she would be far more interested in paragliding, gives her a better feel of flying and all. But she won't object to a parachute jump!

Fair enough. Skydiving can't be everyone's bread and butter! She's probably the one that ends up covered by their parachute the most!
