A scene from a previous DnD session where Zuri blasted a hole in the wall with Eldritch Blast.

SPOILER ALERT: he didn't actually cast Eldritch blast, as he doesn't have access to that spell. In reality he dug the hole out beforehand, then covered it up with minor illusion and brought everyone down to see the wall, THEN cast minor illusion to pretend to cast Eldritch Blast while at the same time dropping the illusion of the wall. Why did he do this? Mostly because he's a liar and wanted to show off to look strong, but also to cement in the partys' minds that he is a warlock. (He's not, he's actually an arcane trickster rogue whose spells all just happen to also be on the warlock spell list)
