Donnie and his brothers were out to defeat a new villain as Donnie's brothers were captured making him feel worried and distressed as he doesn't know what to do as betterfly told him that he'll help him.

Betterfly: alright! *Gets a butterfly and makes it purple with his hands* fly my kamiko and magnify hope that shines in Donatello splinterson's heart! *Kamiko goes towards his staff and absorbs it*

Betterfly: Ameprince! I am betterfly! I'll give you the power to help your brothers at all cost! if you accept my gift you'll get all the powers you'll desire to save them! Do accept the gift that I'm offering you?

Donnie: I do! *He gets engulfed by dark-purple ether transforming him*

abilities and weapon: he has his purple crystal staff that have powers inside the staff. He can make portals and create anything
