Art trade with dear . Also something with Mermay spirit ^^I actually started this one a long time ago but got too many pieces to finish in between. Sorry for taking so long ;u;
Thank you so much for doing this art trade with me and the opportunity to draw this beautiful character. I loved all the details on her design and had so much fun working on this piece.

Yeah last month there was a challenge called "Mermay" where you'd draw mermaids or other seabeings every day, similar to the Inktober challenge in October. I haven't been able to draw a merbeing every single day, obviously. But I made some pieces for this challenge since it seemed fun.

The way her hair fades into purple at the tips is so cool! I wish I could dye my hair like this, but my job prohibits colored hair that is not natural! TT_TT
You did a great job with the fin. I like the subtle textures and how smooth the tail looks. It reminds me of dolphin skin. x3 And the way her hair flows makes it appear like she is indeed underwater!

I'm also envious of her hair!! But sadly my job also prohibits unnatural colored hair so I probably won't ever be able to dye my hair to a crazy color even though it's ombre

And I need to make a list of every monthly challenge that exists because I keep getting caught off guard when people start doing them at the beginning of the month

Yeah like there was Inktober and I've been trying to keep up with it for a while, though I only lasted for 6 days. Then I wanted to draw something else with other tools and focus on one or two detailed pieces so I gave up.
These challenges are good if you usually get stuck without inspiration and don't have anything else to draw but otherwise they get quite repetitive with only a selected theme and tools.
