Have you ever read the Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop? It's a deliciously dark and sensual fantasy trilogy (series, actually) about night magic and powerful gems. The gemstones vary in colors, and the darker they are, the more powerful the wielder. Each stone is given to the bearer twice, one in a birthright ceremony and another darker one after they make a sacrifice to the night. It's a fantastic story. Often, the bearers will polish the stones and set them in jewelry for easy carrying. Later in the story, the readers learn that these gems are actually dragon scales.
So you can imagine my delight after seeing this deviation. Your jewelry is absolutely beautiful and breath-taking, and I love your probably unintentional connection to that story with each piece. One day, I hope to have the money to purchase a collection of your work. I just wanted to tell you that, and to bring your attention to the novels.

ooo very nice! I don't usually like the warmer shades in labradorite but it works very nicely with the silver here
