Commission for , OC designing, Nemo.She is supposed to be a more innocent character. I wanted Nemo to contrast her sister lunarisfuryaileron.deviantart.… by making her practically covered from head to toe and by using lighter colour scheme. I wanted her colour to be more 'earthy' and thus I used a combination of yellowish brown and light greens. I decided to add 'water' theme as her alternate colour but I still prefer the 'green earth' theme. In the end, I just wanted to give her a more modest and reserved atmosphere.

i was wondering, would creating another layer with purely linework, shading that layer with black color and turning down the opacity have the same effect as making a darker color for every color on the illustration? because thats what I do. I'm lazy like that.
