Name: Silva ‘Giniro’ Argenn the wolf faunus

Silva had a dark past. His mother died shortly after giving birth to him which he had always blamed himself since then. At the age of 5, his father committed suicide, leaving behind a note saying how much he missed his wife and how hard and unwilling he is to take care of Silva. Afterward he was taken care by a poorly maintained orphanage for faunus orphan at the edge of the city. He and along a dozen of faunus orphans were taken care of by a pair of loving sisters whom Silva admired so much. It was a harsh life, but Silva was happy to be with people he can call family. However, at the age of 8, a group of grimms attacked the orphanage and the rest of the township. Being at the edge of the city, help came very late. The grimms killed everyone in their sleep. Silva managed to slip away and hide. However, in his sorrow, despair, and rage, he awakened his power, the ‘Life Tap’. He tapped into his life force and temporarily gains super strength, super speed, super recovery, and super sense. Using a simple sword he found, he butchered all of the wild grimms. His Life Tap also allows him to reinforce the sword and make it stronger. His eyes turned red when he activates his power. When help arrived, they saw only him and corpses of other people, faunus, and grimm.

Local faunus extremist group heard the rumours about Silva and kidnapped him. He is then trained by the group to be their elite soldier. Silva, now desperate for family and home, followed the group’s orders. The group took advantage of his natural talent and killer instinct for their agenda. Silva is trained to be an assassin and continued to serve the group. He performed assassinations of various political leaders and powerful people, and usually not shy to mass murder the whole guards and innocent people alongside them in accordance to the group’s order. During his time as child assassin, he discovered his secondary power, ‘Corruption’ and ‘Soul Assumption’. Corruption allows him to sever the life force of living things surrounding him while Soul Assumption allows him to absorb the life force, essentially an energy vampirism that also counters the disadvantages of using Life Tap.

After years doing the group’s dirty works, Silva learned more about the world and discovered how wrong and despicable his current ‘family’ is. At the age of 14, during the meeting of the top brass, Silva became annoyed by all the plans the group had for him and slaughter everyone there. He burnt down the main headquarters and runs away as fugitive. Silva then tries to redeem himself. He fought grimms and protect people in various places while running away from various people who try to catch him. He gained reputation as the protector of the weak, the Silver Guardian. At the age of 16, he was confronted by Ozpin who has also been pursuing him. Ozpin gave him an offer, to serve him to better protect the innocents, in return, Ozpin will give him home and protection. Silva who is now tired of running accepted the offer and pledge loyalty, being familiar with Ozpin’s reputation. He is to be enrolled to Beacon Academy by Ozpin’s personal recommendation, similar to Ruby.

In Beacon, due to his experience, strength, and natural ability, he was given a special status. He is not put in a team but instead became a ‘freelancer’ student. He will join any team that needed an extra hand on any mission and because of his flexibility, he can take up any role in a team although he prefers to be the frontliner. He enjoyed studying in Beacon. He wanted to make as many friends as possible while at the same time continue protecting the innocents from grimm and evil people. His friendliness, ambition, and strength become a topic of admirations of the students there, including team RWBY and JNPR.
