A full body sketch commission for . I like drawing ottsels. It's a breath of fresh air from drawing Sonic and human characters all the time. I do create 100% pure characters that aren't human but I don't show them off since I am very picky when it comes to preventing my original art from being stolen. Fanart, however, doesn't bug me as much. It isn't something I can use in a portfolio so screw it!

I also like the fact that *NightOttsel had a link to references in the ref sheet she showed me. These references are also made by the actual person who worked on the artwork for the Jak & Daxter games so it helped me avoid anatomy errors for the character I was drawing. It was really helpful.

As for the type of sketch, she didn't seem to mind whether it was traditional or digital. I stuck to traditional because I have a steady hand on paper (also I suck at digital lineart) and in case she wanted to color this herself. I find it is more convenient for the artist who bought a sketch to feel like he or she has control of the lineart rather than have someone else do it "wrong", unless the client isn't comfortable doing lineart at all. (It isn't about whether the lineart is done correctly or not, it's the perception and some people are more comfortable doing it their own way. That's why I used the term "wrong" loosely, in case anybody misunderstands me. XD )
