See this picture here? This was specifically meant for a speedpaint video that I was going to put up on youtube. You know, to put this up here just to give you the link to the video?CamStudio is such a pain in my ass. I was testing it out and the program worked no problem. However, I had problems saving the file. I couldn't do it. Everything I recorded was basically gone. Maybe I did something wrong? I am new to the application. I couldn't find the save feature for the damn thing.
If anybody used this recording software before, can you guys lend me a hand? I really suck and I am desperate. Also, forgive me if this picture is kind of messy. CamStudio can get very laggy, which messed up my brush strokes.

I never really played the games (although a little from the first game's demo) but I am tempted to try Uprising. It actually reminds me of Starfox which I really like.

It had nothing to do with hypercam itself, by the way. My old computer just didn't have enough memory, by the way.

Actually I tried Hypercam as well but it crashed my old laptop and now it doesn't run well. It couldn't handle it. ;___;

Ya... the brush strokes are kinda messy...(no offence) especally the nose....(look at it and it lookes like some sort of animal)

A yes, I see. Although the noticeable brushstrokes are common in digital painting. Didn't notice the nose, though. I was going for an anime styled nose but I am having a serious art block with noses lately. lD

Usually CamStudio automatically asks you to save when you're done recording...
The only problem I sometimes get is that exporting the video crashes. But that's all...

It didn't ask me to save when I stopped recording. That's the problem I have. XD

I just checked, and I have the latest version, there is no manual exporting, all is automatic...
You know that if you selected "fixed region" or "region" mode you need to position the recording arear after pressing the record button?

The region was set to full screen. Maybe I screwed up and it works the same way as hypercam, which involves setting up manually the size of what part of the screen you want to record.
I was just thinking that after I installed hypercam today. Speaking of which, I ave no problems with this application. I used it and I was just working on editing the footage. Maybe I should just stick to this one instead of CamStudio. XD

If you have Hypercam for free with no watermark, yes go on with it.
As for CamStudio...full screen mode usually works well, and require no special action.
