this is one of my 'awake' edits as i just realy loved this one but wasnt planing on submiting it, but
i'm glad that i did
Credit given to =Roboffin for changing a tulip into a rose, and also adjusting some of the edit

Great shot, allthough I would say the white is a little blown out, and vice versa, and the backdrop could be a little more adventurous...

thanks for the critique! I love these sort of helpful comments most, so thank you! I think back then i wanted the background to be fairly plain, i was just inspired by how pretty she is! I'm sure if i re-did the photoshot though a lot of things would be different.

This is gorgeous, and your model has amazing hair ! lol...just ONE suggestion, I think a white rose against the corset would have stood out alot better. I didn't even notice she was holding a rose until I read your picture description because the red of the rose camoufloaged with the red of the corset. Just a thought though, i still think this one is very beautiful

omigosh... i love it. she is beautiful for one, and i really like her pose and expression. i love the lighting and colors... everything blends in wonderfully

i love this one. it reminds me of a poem called "The Lady of Shallot" [link]
it's a very interesting yet sad poem about the Lady of Shallot who sits in her room and can only look out to the world through her mirror. To make a long story short she see's Sir Lancelot in her mirror and can't resist looking at him with her own eyes and a curse falls upon her. She then leaves her castle and floats down the river to camelot and dies. sounds grim but it's quite a lovely poem.
Lorena McKennet sings a song about this too....
anyway... your picture very much reminds me of this poem...

Maybe you just wanted it to look soft but it seems a bit out of focus to me. She's very beautiful and peaceful and I love the flow of her hair. Maybe you should've considered though taking the photo a bit more 'up' than 'down'.. it looks like it's taken a bit downwards, which makes her head and shoulders bigger which creates some tension in the photo. And next time.. iron the sheet
Apart from that, it's a beautiful photo, you have a future in this

Yeah I understand what you mean, but still, it'd have looked more 'princess-y' if you'd have ironed sheets. It's especially above her head, doesn't look very good

Ok, you asked for advanced critique, so you're getting it.
My first reaction to this photo was thinking it was stunning. And it is, well, Amber is.
But...
The red lipstick I think is too red, and stands out way to much. I don't really think the tulip works, maybe burn it on PS?
The main thing I don't like about this though, it the angle. It's so chaotic and like *CrystalCobra says, dizzying...Because it hasn't exactly been taken from above or behind, it makes it feel like she's lying against a vertical wall...So yeah, something to think about if you take any more like this.
But the concept, model, and idea are all breathtaking, I love the colours, and the choice of clothes and jewellry. It's just I think you could have made this a lot better if you'd put a little more thought into the angle. But that's just my oppinion babe, you might want it to look exactly like it does.

I think that the lipstick could have been a little darker adn less shocking...and the hair could have been spread a little differently...and the angle is kinda, erm, dizzying.......but other wise wonderful photo 
I really do like it...shes a great model...I wish I could have been there and seen her....and now I have to go and see baby Zack too!! I have to go to reeeeading
