"She is silent and sleeping in shadow-deep valley
Where earth's shifting seasons and time cannot touch
Yet hope fills her dreams that he'll come to redeem her
And wrest her away from the conjurer's clutch

Though oft' heard the tale, still no man has discovered
The Black silvered path to that ominous lair
While travelers bear witness at night of her weeping
Like tormented "Echo", sobs borne in the air

Some whisper her beauty and virtue did heighten
The envy of one who is seared by the light of the sun
Consumed by a malice, a fever unholy
Her soul be thieved softly as night had begun

The years burn like lanterns, she travels in memory
Through jade filtered forests as once she had done
In rage the beast blinded her eye of remembrance
If he owned no respise, then she would have none..."

Finally, after much wait, a new collaboration with my dear friend *GothicNarcissus . We got inspiration for this work from this text written on the booklet of The Dawnseeker, the debut album of Sleepthief. It reminded us of an illustration from Angel Sanctuary by Kaori Yuki and thus the whole thing was born.
