Description When I was little, I created this made up fox/guardian angel-like friend named Katea ("Katie") that had everything I was interested in at the time: fluffy long tail, claws, fangs, pretty wings, cute face, and big ears. Her composition is nothing but like a cloud, and she constantly changes size to suit where I am, hovering from behind or sleeping in my pocket.

I haven't drawn her in maybe ten years, but she still looks very much like this. I see absolutely nothing wrong with kids creating imaginary friends because in truth, imaginative play is the kind of play that is always guaranteed to work. I'm nineteen and still have my imaginary friend on occasion because it's mentally stimulating and I'm still enchanted by how real something can be just by envisioning it there. Maybe I'll always be an overactive imaginative kid on the inside.

This could mean a whole new beginning for Doctor Numbers and Mickey the fish. Your other series of Doctor Numbers was..... nyeh. I think you could do great things if you started something with this. You may become even more popular! Hope you do great things! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>

Before i thought Doctor Numbers' hair was brown or black. But blonde is just fine with me! (I'm a blonde myself) Thanx for adding the eyelashes so people know Doctor N is a female. (But not a huge chest like SOME others) The finger adds some evilness and suspense to it The giant X on earth gives it some foreshadow as well. WHAT WILL HAPPEN?? NO ONE KNOWS....... Doctor Numbers has some big plans headed this way....

Thanks But you wrote about a different picture of mine on this picture. If you want to talk about Dr. N, go to that picture and say it.

Thanks though!

Hello! I saw that you requested a Critique... and I thought to myself, why not? e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="390" title=" (Smile)"/>

Firstly, I am a huge fox lover myself, so the whole concept of this character hits very close to home. I agree that imagination blossoms when children have friends that they can't see. It's a beautiful, magical thing that having child-like wonder and an open mind can create.

Now, for the piece itself! Clear effort has been put into this beautiful creature. Every plume of fur is lovingly placed, and everything flows together, creating a gorgeous, cartoonish masterpiece.

There isn't honestly much else I can say about this, since there are few if any mistakes! It's as eye-catching and heart-warming as can be, and I hope that Katea is still there with you, sleeping in your pocket.

I'd be very interested in seeing more of your work! And perhaps offering more Critiques.

x3 I tell my dad I don't have one but I DO. Her name is Ho-Ho and she is a furry dragon that can shape shift and basically has every single power.Β Β

It's sad that this doesn't have much feedback... it's really good! Β I hope my Critique is helpful to you.

Thank you for taking the time! Over two and a half years of being on dA and you've made my first critique! I really encourage them because I think that deep personal analysis of art is important to find things you can't see. Thanks!

Do you need permission? My gallery doesn't have a lock on it! There's still some of my old work in there; it's unsightly but not too bad.Β

I always ask first... courtesy before critique, ya know. :3

I don't mind if it's old!
