She strolled the path she usually took, but seeing it in a new view. Everything...seemed to have more color after...that. A smile peaked from her mouth as she watched her feet take one step after the other. Left, right, left, right. "..Hn?" She paused shortly as she noticed a shadow stretching out to her. Not many people traveled this path, she could only think of a few. She glanced up and what she discovered, was the main person who took the same path as her. "Yo..ru?" It was a bit weird hearing it come from her mouth, but she wanted to give people more respect unless they gave permission.
"..Hm..?" He seemed dazed, more like lost in thought really.
"You ok?" She asked, approaching him casually.
"..Ah, yeah." He took his time looking from the sky to eventually her. He was a bit surprised that it was her. Usually she was the hyperactive twit that jumped everyone. And what was that? No "-chan" at the end? It was a curious thing, but the interest wasn't kept for long.
"Heh..Now say that again with some truth." She just smiled weakly. She could tell when fellow others masked what they were feeling, hell, she had became a master at it herself.
"..Heh," He returned just as weak of a smirk. "Same things like always..~"
"Ah, I see.." She knew what was wrong, well, one of the main things, anyway.
"Yeah." He dropped his shoulders and two of his fingers twitched, giving a 'wave'. "See ya then." And with that, he turned his back to her and began his way.
Her eyes narrowed slightly. She had to do something. Anything... "..Ne." She quickly took a step to catch up with him and gently, but firmly, placed a hand on his shoulder. Because knowing Yoru, he would try to get away from her.
"..Hn? What..?" His skin tensed a little at her touch, but he had learned to tolerate it by now. She was one of those type of people who struck a nerve, but you didn't mind her being around.
She knew the truth. She's always known it, even before he told her that night in his emotional rage. But, she also knew what was said was confidential and she didn't want to say anything too soon to make the situation worse than it already was. Besides, both of these two are the ones who need to say what really needs to be said to eachother. So, what then? What could she say without giving anything away? She wanted so bad to do something for him. For the man who saved her life, she wanted to fix his, or at least try. "..Yo-chan." She couldn't help but revert to old habits.
"..Yeah?"
She smiled a little, leaning in towards his ear as if to exchange a secret. "I know something you don't know~" She whispered.
"..Hn?" He didn't respond at first, uninterested. He didn't want to play any of her games. But soon, his eyes flickered in realization, the faint feel of blush arising to his cheeks. She only said that when she knew something about...h-him..."N..Nani..?"
"..Heh~" Her smile turned to a smirk and she backed away from him. "You'll just have to find that out on your own~" Before he had time to grab her arm to prevent her, she was already gone in the direction of her path.
"..T-Tch.." He ran a hand through his hair, the familiar fluster returning to his face. "..D..Dammit."
