is not always visible
but forever inevitable
when we imagine ourselves
in foreign places
escaping from reality
or sometimes just
escaping from ourselves
and we don't always know it
but words and phrases are always
trying to seep through
to the next dimension
making sweet strings of
melodies and passionate woe
but mostly just the kind of
passion we often keep to ourselves
in moments of glory and beauty
that cannot be explained
in conversation
and thus we become aware
of the importance of poetry
