That last bit is confusing (hell, I could have misunderstood a nuance). I think she's happy she didn't hear the doorbell so that he was able to wake her up, BUT, through her infinite tsundere wisdom, is denying her own feelings.
Also, it just says 'chime', so it may have been a cell phone chime rather than a doorbell's chime.
