Beware huge file / Zoom in +A little selection of the studies I did between 2016 and 2017 (I have made far more)
I would have loved to show more but it would have been too much for one file, but maybe I will make a part II
you will notice that most of them are drawn in colored pencil, the reason for this is simple, I do not erase a single line while making studies, the reason is simple I want to give my brain the possibility to process my mistakes and acknowledge them. I see it very often with beginner artist, that they erase the same wrong line a dozen times, just so to draw the same wrong line again.
And sorry for the lacking quality of two images, they were shot after the other ones (on those I had help from my wonderful mate photographing them ) the others were quickly shot by me today (A2 format is a pain to photograph...
quite a few of them are done using references (that's the point of studies, to begin with), but sadly I lost complete track whos photographs I referenced there (used own ones as well), so if you happen to recognize the "originals" feel free to tell me so can link them here

Ich find das mit dem Pferd das über die Klippe springt und wo diese Wolfsköpfe i Hinergrund sind echt geil
