AMOR'S HEALER TRYOUT
Part 2

Amor galloped through the trees, his adoptive father Basri not far behind him, he was on a mission! The past few days after his incident with the tree, he has been helping out the healers a great deal. He loves learning about the different herbs and remedies from the healers, he found it very interesting. Amor also loved being helpful, and since he wasn't quite healed up he decided to help the healers stock up on their herbs and materials. This time Basri accompanied him for the stroll through the territory. It was nice to get some father-son time, and he was wondering if he could learn about something that might help Basri's bad leg feel better. Maybe some herb or way to work the muscles to relieve pain and stiffness. Amor hadn't heard of anything yet, but he was determine to learn as much as possible from the healers before he got back to his normal apprentice duties. Amor let out a soft sigh and looked down at his front paws, they turned in at an odd angle, and caused him to be much slower and clumsier than all the other apprentices. Suri still hadn't let him do any real fighting practice with the other apprentices yet due to him being so behind the others. Amor knew he wasn't a great gladiator apprentice, and who knows if he'll ever be able to become a real gladiator, but maybe by learning from the healers he could do some good and help his family by doing so. Amor glanced back towards the clouded leopard, he gave the male a small smile before trotting forward again. He was looking for a certain type of moss, apparently it was great for stopping bleeding, and made quite a comfortable bedding for injured or sick cats. Salvus told Amor that it was a darker green in color and usually grew on trees and logs. He hadn't seen any just yet but he was keeping his eyes out for any. So far Amor had already collected quite a few things, and already stuffed them into his satchel that he carried around his waist. He had gotten some Aloe Vera, which eased burns and helped with other skin conditions, he had found some new Ash Tree sprouts which helped with venomous bites from snakes or spiders. The small male had also been able to find some hawthorn berries as well which helped with indigestion and upset stomachs. Then he spotted something in the distance, it was a dark green mass that was growing on one of the trees. Amor did a little jump of excitement and rushed over to the tree, it was a ways up the tree, but he stood on his hind legs and stretched up his neck to the moss, his grabbed it in his teeth and yanked it, most of the moss came tumbling down the tree with him. Amor smiled at the pile of moss, then he frowned, his pouch was already full of other herbs and stuff, and he definitely wasn't able to carry this much back by himself. The striped male looked around for Basri, then spotted him by a tree, sunbathing. Amor galloped over to the larger male, "I found the moss! But there's so much of it, will you help me carry it back to camp?" Basri looked over towards the pile of moss and nodded, "Of course." The two of them picked up the moss and headed back towards camp, Amor happily smiling because he felt like he was finally useful.
