Styx asked me to do 3 forms of her character (cub, young and adult lion) for the forum LionkingPast.
I had to do in disney cartoon style.

Very nice. The paws, even though hidden under the sand, look gorgeous! I love the way the face looks, it's very serene, but it still has a hint of worry. And the colors, my my, the colors are very well put together; if only they could have made the Lion King movie like this.

The character is very alone, in her story, he's a solitary dreamer. So the look worry is for this nature. Glad to see someone like it :3

You did a wonderful job in portraying his emotions. I'm not sure if I added this in my first comment, but the dunes look very realistic, and I don't think you could have chosen better colors for the sand; excellent work, you have a good eye for color!

really ? I test a new technical style in what I don't take colors of other pics, for the first time, I do some "realistic" BG with my own colors, and you see in good ones ! I'm honoured !

You did an amazing job picking the colors for sure, the whole background!
You've inspired me to start working with sand and warm colors again, I gave up long ago because I wasn't good at it, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try again Also, I should probably make some more big cat characters, and practice cat anatomy, I don't do that all that much. =/
