I wanted to try a more realistic approach to drawing pokemon. So this is as realistic as it can get for me.

I'm pretty sure the anatomy is jacked up, but I'm getting the hang of it I think.

I hope you can see that this unfinished, still need to add the fur.

I'll add the background story when it's finished, cuz I'm still not sure if Gem should get Rubis as an egg or find her at a shrine.
She is Gem's first pokemon after all.
