Well, It's an original comic that I HOPE to get published at some point. It's working title is "Valspena." I have some character sketches up in my gallery. Elijah and Sebastian are from it.

It's kind of harder doing original stuff. With the GG comics I didn't have to worry about characterization, the whole series took care of that, I could just provide stimuli and let all the character's personalities bounce off each other.
"Valspena" is a fairly serious story, so I have moments where I'm rereading over what I've written and I feel like saying "AAH! It's BAD! MAKE IT GO AWAY!" lol It also seems like it's dragging in some places to me, but then, stagnation and apathy is one of it's main themes.

And the story problem gah....i understand once again, making characters is hard...i always end up basing them off of my friends or different aspects of my self...or writing fan fiction -_-; i ave found that getting the story board down and then just going off with it was all i could do then once its done you go through and edit what you do and dont like. But theres always that stuff you want to go away.... -_-; the back space is good for that.... heh heh

Actually, I think basing characters off people can actually be rather entertaining. Dante, James Barrie(Peter Pan), and a bunch of other authors do it. Elijah himself is based on a real person.
But I also like to create characters who have next to nothing in common with me. It makes things more....interesting. ...but it also makes me feel like I need to include a disclaimer for the series "The views and opinions expressed by the characters are not necessarily those shared by Lunore" LOL

So very true, it is great to base them off of people you know, doing it that way helps me understand their actions better or have an actual connection to them. Characters that are nothing like you, thats fun, almost a way to explore things you wouldnt normally do or agree with, take a look at it through the eyes of another mind.....heh heh....maybe im getting a little seriouse with it, i dont know if thats what you wanted here, sorry if it is bugging you, i just really love writing. May i perhaps ask who Elijah is based on?

Oh, it's alright. Actually, I never thought about it that way, coming to understand the person you based them off better. As for characters who are completely different, it's pretty fun for the reasons you said. I have another character named Remus. Design-wise he's my favorite creation, but personality-wise I would probably whack him upside the head if I ever met him.
As for who Elijah is, I'm sure that person would rather I didn't tell anyone who they were. Those around in real life MIGHT be able to figure who he is, But I'd have to send in the Men in Black afterwards. LOL

LOL, interesting, you have peeked my curiosity about this character but i will press no further on him as not to be an annoyence. Ahh yes i am happy to have caused you to think about it differently, my character Hikari(is a man despite the name) is the best thing ive created since sliced bread (wich i did create....really!) Hes very much like me but only whats inside of me, no one would no this simply by chatting with me. but in every aspect he is quite the guy, its funny too, when i first saw Sol i was rather annoyed cause he had the exact hair style of Hikari, and that hair style was so special to me cause it took years for it to evole into such, i mean the head band and every thing, just Hikari has black hair with red, but i was angry.

Oh yes, that's something else that's annoying about writing and making up characters. Coincidences. My Friend Daimera once told me she made up a character who controled their shadow.....and along came Zato.
Then I had a character named Raven with shoulder length black hair. ....and along came Raven in Teen Titans (although they're hardly alike personality wise)

Gee i know, its so horrible, Hikari was like a character i developed over years and then sol came and they are so much alike in many ways, except for Hikari is pretty. ^0^ but a toatle ass, very complex character....but ehh what can you do. It reminds me now of the comic you made Copy Right, that one was awsome...it had Metalica......and Axel rose, you know that makes me wonder do those guys know about guilty gear?

I know. It's annoying. Knock on wood I still haven't seen anyone that resembles My Sebastian yet.
As for Axl and Hetfield, I have absolutely no idea. Those guys tend to get really anal about people using their riffs, and that makes me wonder about what would happen if they heard some tracks from the series. Then again, since the game is practically one big plug for various bands, maybe they would surprise us and be okay with it.

Heh heh heh, i would really like to know, i can just see it quite a few years after the game has been out (like now) theres this huge trial and crapp. Nah, they probably dont know, though i think at some point they would have to find out some how and i would like to see it. And hopefully no one ever steals Sebastian because then...there is no one different lookin and it just further proves the human mind is too much alike to be origional any more, it seems like every one is making the same stuff over and over again, there arent many induvidual things anymore.
