Hello everyone!You know? There's one certain story, that really inspires me whenever I look through its old pages and it makes me so motivated to draw, I could not resist to draw two of the main characters as a tribute to this. The story I'm talking about is "Klausen" by and with this drawing of Fiona and Eric, I wanted to thank her so much for the inspiration and motivation I get whenever I look at her art and, especially at her comic pages^^ I love the characters and the shown situations so much, I just had to do it!
Fiona is a strong character to me, who has got a looong and interesting story to tell. I see her as the protecting, caring mother to her son Eric, loving and caressing him in any way she can^^ Eric is such a cute foal and character in the story hehe, they fit together very well! Isn't his curious/worried expression adorable?
Besides, he wears a Slytherin scarf and isn't that a coincidence?^^I had fun drawing this, especially Fiona. I like how she turned out - her pose, facial expression and mane, even though that was a tough one. Nevertheless, I think the picture itself looks satisfying and good to me^^
Like I said, I feel so strong emotions when it comes to this comics and Denny has done such an amazing work with it, I just can't express how much I love it^^ Thank you, for being so amazing and creating so much wonderful art^^ I really hope you like this interpretation of Fiona and Eric hehe.

I'm so flattered you love Klausen, even if it is the old pages! I actually want to apologize that I'm not continuing the pony version of it, but I'm hoping I can at least bring the story back to life even if the characters are different species, and I hope you'll still enjoy it regardless.

honestly the way some people talk make me feel pressured to work on it. Like why guilt trip the artist for not updating as much as they can?

I know people can seem harsh and demanding, but often they don't mean it, I'm sure. I can speak for myself that I'd love to see the comic continue, but I would never force you or anything. An artist needs their space and motivation to work on something and that only if they really want to. If they don't or can't, may it be time or health issues or just disliking the story after all, it is totally fine and needs to be accepted by others. Please don't be mad or annoyed

I just wish people had more consideration for the person behind the art and understand they have issues too, not everything is perfect and not everythig can be done.
with all this being said I'm considering just starting fresh and making up a new story tk make into comic form. Honestly, at this point I don't care if people want to keep guilt tripping me about Klausen, they can leave.

Please don't do anything that could hit you or others, okay? You sure are free to do whatevwr you want, but I wouldn't like you or others to regret it since art is a wonderful thing and should always be enjoyed no matter what^^
And you don't need to thank me for anything, of course I can understand how you feel when people are longing or demanding for something made by you or putting you under pressure. I might not be as well known or big as you, but as an artist myself I know well enough what others expect sometimes, so I would not like to do that to other artists, even though admiring their work^^
And if you want, you can feel free to talk to me about Klausen or your idea about it
No matter what, please don't let people get you down because of that, okay? We all love your work, but health and privacy are priority

Don't worry I'm not going to go crazy. I'll just draw what I like and if people don't like it, tough then. For example I want to branch out onto new things, learn how to draw humans better, that sort of thing.

I honestly have no idea what I want to do with Klausen. I'm starting to really get fed up with trying to work on it. I'd rather just work on something new at this point.
And in case anyone asks, no, I won't give Klausen to somebody else to work on.

It's completely understandable since you want to experience new things to spread your artistic skills and development in new things^^ I wanna do so myself, practicing drawing anthros a lot, lately hehe, more into human bodies or proportions etc. so that's a great idea of yours^^ That will cheer you up for sure and I can't wait to see what you've got in store

I've spent too much time stressing myself out over Klausen i think its time to lock it away, even if I decide to return to it one day. It's at least given me the feel of working on a comic though. I can produce something even better instead.

Nevertheless, I wish you lots of fun and success experiencing new things and trying out everything you want
I believe that it is hard to lock something away that really took a lot of work, motivation, time and brainstorming, but on the other hand, it might be a good start for something new. There surely are a lot of ideas on your mind since I know you are creative xD If it makes you feel better, that's the right thing to do.

The good thing is that Klausen had taught me things which I can keep in mind for when I start the new thing. I'm glad you are happy with the decision <3 Elements from Klausen will be implemented into the new story such as some of the characters.

Well this comic is kinda dead. there wasnt an update in 2 years or so. She tried to make this pony comic into a furry comic at some point but still nothing new. The comic died in the prequel. It didnt even make it to the main part. Too bad that she lost her mojo for that comic. You cant find it here nor on her tumblr. Derpibooro is the only place i know if you are curious what the comic was all about so far

It's been a difficult year for me, so I'm sorry I've not been working on anything. But I haven't stopped wanting to work on the story, I still want to bring the Klausen story to life again, even if it has to be written, although I still would like to attempt a comic. We'll see.

That's understandable. Its just a pity that this comic has such a long hiatus and 2 rebirths with the more chibi styled pones and then the anthro one. I would prefer the first pony designs (i am not into chibi stuff xD) or the anthro version when the comic really continues. And to keep your watchers happy you maybe could do more regular status updates on how things are rolling and when your follower can expect things to happen.
But its a good information that you still have the story in mind and that it isnt buried yet. It was interesting so far and i would start following again when the restart will happen someday.

Thats your opinion. Also I DID keep my followers updated as much as I could. Sometimes things just never worked out and I wasn't able to work on it because of one thing or the other. I feel like I don't need to share my personal life to prove to you I DO have a life and a comic isn't priority.
I'm trying to branch out which is why I didn't want the comic to be ponies anymore.
People need to respect my decisions instead of complaining all the time that I don't update 24/7. I'm not a machine.

the klausen updates were around twice a year. with you
always saying, its not dead i will continue soon-ish after
all kinds of other things. but then nothing really happened.
so the klausen fans were just floating around, waiting. and
this isnt nice over such a long time. i understand that you have
a real live. but making promisses over such a long time over and
over again and not much is happening, i guess you should see
that people get a bit sassy and sarcastic about that subject.
you dont have to share all your live with us. that is totally fine.
art blocks and stuff happens. some people will understand it
and some dont. and some others doesnt care.
you can work on whatever you want. it is your choise. and like
i said. i am fine with the anthro/furry thing for klausen instead
of pones. the only thing nice to have about it would a realistic
release schedule. and when a big project like this gets hic ups
(which can and will happen at some point), then a short
message would be fine about the current development. and not
many month later with plans to redo everything once again.
this is just confusing. and not everyone is complaining XD
some really just want to know what is happening to the project
which leads to watching you in the first place XD
