Description
Hello everyone,
to start December with a laugh, I wanted to show to you a small carricature I came up with a couple of weeks ago. It came to me spontaneously while I was working and had to draw this as soon as I had the chance to.
I literally saw it in front of my eyes that I wanted to draw a funny looking Santa Clause wearing a mask and also using a face mask as his bag full of presents and gifts for Christmas. However, instead of nicely wrapped up packages, I wanted to implement some of the very important items that humanity seems to have hamstered and suddenly ran out of over this pandemic, such as disinfectants, canned meals, gloces and most importantly toilet paper, that somehow became such a precious object.
I wanted to try out a different and funny style by using very quick strokes, working pretty roughly and not too detailed and accurate to create a stereotypical, charming illustration style since... the message matters the most and less the aesthetics.
What do you think of this somewhat critical/controversial piece? Do you rather find it interesting/funny/amusing or rather see it in a negative way? feel free to share your opinion with me^^
