Sonic SatAM Fanart.Bunnie, Sally and Sonic (yeah, I drew him with separate eyes
)I was listening to this 80's song called 'Silent Running' by Mike and the Mechanics. There's a line in the 3rd verse that reminds me of the Freedom Fighters XD...
So I had to draw 'em...
'Teach the children quietly,
for someday, sons and daughters

A great image. Your style works well with our SATAM heroes, especially Sonic.
A nice nod to Mike + The Mechanics. I wish iTunes would release their music. In addition to "Silent Running", "A Call To Arms" would fit well with this scene too:

Sally looks really mature here. I do like how Sonic looks At first I though Shadow because of the lines but noticed they weren't like his. The fur in his chest too, but that makes him cute. I could see this in a cartoon.
Bunnie looks adorable too. But Sonic's just plain sexy.

Wohooo, thanks! Y'know, I have a really hard time drawing Sonic. I think it's his eyes. Something about his head throws me off. And I can't ever figure out how to draw his body either. O>O
So I'm glad he came out all right here. He's easier to draw with separated eyes. I personally think he fits in better with the SatAM cast that way, too.

Sonic's round body as always been a pain for me to draw to, so I give him a bit of human proportions. I've always drawn him before anything else for years so now his eyes are easy for me but they are pretty hard to figure out. When I think of his skull it just....does not compute. XD The would be just one huge eye socket, and then that would mean he only has one eye, so he's a cyclops! And that's just freaky and weird.
Whoever designed the guy at first must have been in some really good shit!

Heh, I don't have the link but someone linked me to this weird picture of Sonic the other day. It showed his eyelid being peeled back and then his two pupils merged into one big one so he was basically a cyclops! (It was kind of gross!

I agree with kaikaku on this one, "it's obvious who everyone is, but at the same time you really redefine the characters and make them your own"
And in this way you are enabled to convey the message you desire! I love it! Bunnie seems particularly angsty in this picture, almost embittered! Wonderful as always!

I always like your style--it's obvious who everyone is, but at the same time you really redefine the characters and make them your own. It's most evident with Snively of course (who isn't in this picture) but I like your take on Sally and Bunnie. The two-eyed Sonic works really well here.
I also like the background. All ashy, snowy, and bleak. Aaaah, just the way the evil doctor likes it.
