Well, for something completely different...Leaving England from Dover to Dunkerque, we had some rough weather at first. Well, nothing serious, but it was quite impressive. This is a photo I took right when we left the harbor, from the outer deck.
I really like how that seagull is circling the beacon...

Excellent! Lighthouses in general hold a fascination for most people but in this setting of building seas the combination makes the shot very dramatic.

You really did catch the motion and power of a stormy sea here, and that seagull is almost incongruous--but it adds to an already excellent photo.
