Sorry for not uploading much lately, I'm having a mix of a lack of time syndrome and a "photography art block" if there's anything like that
I'll probably take some new photos tomorrow morning, since we currently have awesome weather with sunny blue skies and low temperatures - just what the wolves like
So here's a rather old photo I digged out a while ago when looking through photos marked as "interesting".
It looks like this guy nibble-grooms a tree
I remember him doing that for quite a while, but actually I don't remember where I took that photo, only that it was a long time ago, still taken with the 28-300. (Actually I'm just too lazy to look it up now *G*).Enjoy

All I have ever uploaded here was taken with the same camera, Canon EOS 1Ds Mk III.
I have taken a couple of really nice shots today, of wolves, lynx and birds of prey... but so many photos in total that I didn't even manage to sort through them all. I hope I might be able to prepare one or two until next weekend.

It looks like the wolf wanna kiss, or lick the tree or whatever lol, is it smelling another animal scent or something?
The pose of the wolf is interesting too, nice shot! Its colors are awesome, natural mixed with gold, and those teeth are epic!

My guess would be that there was a spider or something climbing up the tree and the wolf tried to get it. He tried for quite a while, so I guess he didn't quite reach

Where are you living to get the chance to see wolves in real life? in northen France there are no wolves park anywhere TwT;...

In central Germany... in Germany, there are over 80 parks with wolves.
I don't know about northern France... but in Southern France (in Saint-LΓ©ger-de-Peyre), there's the Parc des Loups du GΓ©vaudan ([link] ), which seems to be simply amazing. Also, it's not too far from Northern France to England and the UK Wolf Conservation Trust ([link] ).
But of course, it would be nice to have a park in closer vicinity. However, a quick search on google showed that there seems to be a wolf park in Amiens: [link]
It would have surprised me that there's nothing in northern France
