Description     While most artifacts are inspired by people sometimes the people are inspired by an artifact, like King George III's Crown being the inspiration for the mad hatter's hat, due to the fact it causes madness when worn. This artifact inspired Douglas Adams when he wrote Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy in which he wrote about a device by the same name.
The S.E.P. field is a relatively simple working device that harnesses peoples natural instinct to ignore things. While inside the field you are aware of everything it contains however instead of reacting the way you normally would you choose to ignore it, feeling that its not you job to deal with it thus it's not worth you attention. Because of this everything within the field is as good as invisible. It is very useful for hiding something completely since no one can be bothered to investigate the area themselves.
This is another artifact that will be featured in my upcoming story

You have interesting ideas, LupinKurt. I represent a group who may be interested in hearing them. A group of Endless Wonder...
warehouse-13-artifact-database…
I played that up to make it more interesting than it is, but seriously you should take a look. You might be interested.

the w13 database? ya I use them all the time, but don't they only list artifacts known to exist in the w13 universe? I didn't know they used fake ones like mine. But ya it would be awesome if I could connect with them. I even have a few of the mystery artifacts figured out, such as the one known as 'hear colors' since that's all we know about it. that one is actually possible though, so its not as mystical.

This isn't the official wiki. This is a sister wiki for fan-made creations. And before you go announcing your 'discoveries', it might pay to check whether or not someone has beaten you to the punch. For starters, I'd recommend you spend some time going through the 'Random Page' button, to get a feel for the site. Then if you're in the mood to contribute give me a message on my user wall.My name is the same there, so I'm not too hard to find. And you'll be happy to know that I don't think anyone has taken your three ideas yet.

well artifacts are not always the same as the versions we read in stories. for instance alice didn't go through the mirror to reach wonderland, she was forcibly imprisoned there to stop her blood thirsty killing sprees

That's and interesting device. I mean how are you suppose to turn it off if you lose interest the moment you enter the field?

LupinKurt In reply to MochaWolfroo [2014-03-25 17:16:34 +0000 UTC]

You can't, that's why it has a warning label. So you better be sure you want it before turning it on cause it's not turning off in your lifetime XD
