When intergalactic criminals known as Junker Mafia found Venjix's old lair, they found an allies with villains hiding in the Cyber Dimension to takeover the Earth. When the RPM Rangers and the Grid Battleforce Rangers were unable to defeat the Junker Mafia and they disappeared out of the Blue, Commander Devin Daniels hired Darren De Wolf to recruit a new team of Power Rangers to face against the Junker Mafia as the Nitro Rangers to save the world from another computer virus.
