Description
there are toomany pills in this
world and too
much misery in
the human heart
but that didn't mean
that you could just
up and leave when
we both know it
could have gotten better
and i miss you like
a wolf misses her pack
or a goddamn dragon misses
her fire and i'm sorry
that i can't give you
a bouquet of jasmines
(they were your
favorite, after all,
because that was
the only princess
with a pet tiger)
because poppies are
too cliche and i'm
sorry i wasn't there
when all you needed
was a hug and for someone
to whisper "it's okay,
you're perfect enough
for me, don't listen
to that junkie bitch
who just happened to
give birth to you" and did
you know that i'm still waiting
for a reply to that one
email about the world's
best puns because fuck,
there's a stubborn part
of me that still refuses to
believe that you're gone.

I've never understood why people get angry at someone who committed suicide. It seems awfully selfish, to immediately focus on how their death affects you.

I'm sorry that you're going through this. There is no words to fix your heart, but I just want you to know that you're strong. That this poem is beautiful. That I cried. That you should never give up on your dreams, or writing. That everything is done, and you should live for her now, if not for yourself. I'm sure she would want that. I do not think I have words to describe this, other than those - beautiful and so, so sad. A personal word - though unwanted the advice might be - you do not have to try and forget. Just to continue breathing, keep your head up, and every now and then, allow yourself to look back and be sad.

I'm sorry this happened. This is a pain neither side should have to endure. This is beautifully written, and the way you were able to get that raw emotion across is unbelievable.
It's a horrible thing to go through. It won't stop hurting, not for a while. And that's okay, even if it sucks. It's what makes you human. You don't need to try and forget her - you are allowed to take your time and grieve. I didn't know her personally, and this sounds clichΓ© because of that, but I know she would appreciate this. No... That she does appreciate it.
I'm sure she's doing fine wherever she is now.

I made the mistake of reading this the first time while i was at school. ANd i nearly cried. And now i'm in school again, reading it again, and nearly crying in my speech class. Because in that moment, feeling these words like a tangible thing, i miss her too. I don't even know her name, her face, her story, and i miss her too.
I want to be able to say i get it, what it's like to miss someone who's gone like this. But I don't, so i can't. but know Β that I'm an open ear and virtual shoulder to cry on if it's ever needed.Β

Anyways, when I read this, I just felt so attached to you--and her. Even though I haven't met you, or her, or know what made her make that decision, I felt like I was you, and I knew what it was like to lose her. I'm sorry for her and you, and I wish it didn't end that way. I'm sure she was a beautiful girl, though, and that she wouldn't want you to mourn over her. :c
