Description
today is the day i grow my fangs.
no longer will i put my tail
between my legs when i pass by my
reflection; no more will i cower
before the wicked dreams
that whisper deceit in my ears.
i shall throw back my head
and howl to the moon whenever i
wish. the cowardly hunger will
be sated by the bones of my
monsters, crunched to nothing but
dust between my teeth. even the
devil will fear my rage for at
last, i am beginning to cherish
this temple that protects my
still-mending heart.
as for the dread that still threatens to cage my wild soul?
i will hunt it down
and tear it to bloody shreds with hidden claws
that once lurked beneath my
trembling skin. for i have become freeβ
and it is a right which i will
never let leave my sight.

this is pretty good. 2.5 stars for this poem, because its a poem, and poems have rhythms, but i can seem to find any rhythm in this poem. it got 4.5 stars for originality because not many people write poems about werewolves. 5 stars for vision because i could see the stuff happening in my head, and 5 stars for impact because its really good. overall, not including the technique, this poem is really good, and you are a really good writer. and theres a 100 word minumum for this, and i dont know what else to say.. so im saying this e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

First off, this poem is rad as hell. It's got some really powerful language going for it and you can really feel the passion, energy and strength behind it. Fantastic work.
Second, I'm super glad to hear that you came out to your parents and they didn't like, throw rocks at you or anything like that. I know coming out to your family can be super difficult and intimidating, and it's great that you have that past you now and that it didn't ruin your relationships with them.
Plus, it's kind of inspiring to me. I have alot of stuff I need to do that I'm scared of doing and I feel like if you can be that brave and do that kind of crazy scary thing, then maybe I can stop being such a huge crybaby and do the things I know I have to do.
...
OR... maybe I can just go watch more Game Grumps.

This poem is beautiful, for me I've always found my strength with cats. Just sitting down and having them in my lap has aww always made me feel stronger. I'm so glad that you were finally able to come out, and that they were okay with it.
Hopefully one day ill find the strength to come out to my parents about being panromantic, though in still heterosexual.
But this isn't about me, you were very strong and so are the wolves <3
