These are his characters Mil and Cog (the orange male) who are natives of Veldin in his R&C story and the adoptive parents of Ratchet. From what I know, they're a species who live relatively simple lives and their lifespans are short compared with lombaxes (like 40 years max).... so sad :C but I always did want to draw them. They're so sweet ^^

I sketched and outlined this months ago, only just got around to finishing it last week x_x god it took me so long to colour, this is the first 'full' traditional piece I've done in ages. So yeah, it was nice to do something like this again though. And that background is supposed to be Veldin, the original PS2 version anyways. I kinda simplified it though.

Will be sending the original to him soon
