Komodo Joe is the smaller, smarter and more agile brother of the Komodo brothers. He was originally created by Nitrus Brio to try and stop Crash from gathering crystals for Neo Cortex.
While Moe is the strength of the duo, Joe is cunning, quick on his feet and good with his sword. Despite that though, both he and Moe were outwitted by Crash Bandicoot during their fight. After their defeat, Brio allowed them to live freely anyhow, and so they both stayed on X.Treme Island at their temple home. Dr Cortex never 'kidnapped' the duo for his evil plans.
And so the Komodo Brothers got bored with the lack of action and decided to open up a crazy race course around the island's beaches. Both Joe & Moe appeared to be rather neutral towards the other anthros, so most people were welcome. Although their safety was not guaranteed on the racecourse. Some of the karts even lacked working brakes!
Joe occasionally visits Brio and other familiar faces at the castle nonetheless, such as Pinstripe, Dingodile and so on. Playing poker or whatever!

And finally, Komodo Joe. Woot, that's pretty much all the CB2 cast (besides Polar, I'm including him in a pic with Pura & Baby T next time) so yeah. Admittedly, he hasn't changed a whole lot with my new style. Just improved anatomy I guess, lolz.

Once again, your coloring rocks!
It's been so long since I played Crash 2. Joe and Moe had a kickass boss fight.

I always wondered WHY they were on the space station since they were Brio's minions, not Cortex's. Although interestingly, in the original Crash game, they, along with Tiny, were going to be Cortex's minions. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6d5651…

Haha that's because I didn't know Tiny and the Komodo Brothers were sent by Brio to destroy Crash (when I was a kid) because I didn't pay attention to the story xD and I didn't take notice of what Brio said in the warp-room too
But I do know now, so I'll be making a lot of changes to the story once I get down to it.... ^^

Thanks! Heh regarding the old OB plot... As a kid, I didn't know Brio created the Komodo brothers. I know, it's embaressing!
